I've got to meet my best friend in a little while. We both have an appointment with a Phoenix bankruptcy lawyer. Fortunately, this is just a precautionary measure. This will be the first business we're opening together and we thought it would be a good idea to go through the motions of all of our worst-case scenarios. I think we're both hoping the meeting will scare us so much that we will do everything in our power to succeed. If we have to consider something like bankruptcy in the future, then we'll be more prepared. I think our goal is to eliminate the shock wherever we can. We don't want any unpleasant surprises. I think this is the most prepared we've ever been for anything. After the meeting, we're going to put the business aside and just enjoy each other's company and catch up with what else is going on in our lives. I know my friend has had a lot on her mind since her ex boyfriend came back into town. She is still trying to get over that one. She said she's hoping he doesn't become a regular fixture around town. Right now she thinks he's just visiting. I didn't have the heart to tell her, but I heard something through a mutual acquaintance that his move is permanent. This acquaintance is a pretty trustworthy and reliable source of information, so I have no reason to believe otherwise at this point. We are definitely going to have some serious talking to do after this meeting!
