Lydia is enjoying living and working in Houston.  She and her husband have been there for a couple years now, and she loves the pace of it.  First her husband retired a couple years before they moved out there, then she finally decided it was time to enjoy life a little without the nine to five job so she retired too and they moved back to his home state.  Since Dan is an attorney, he decided to do some consulting and got started right away interpreting the Houston bankruptcy laws for people who were trying to decide whether to file for bankruptcy or try to fight it out.  She loves it there, and has already has a full circle of friends, who she mostly met at the church they promptly joined when they got there.  The house they bought has a lot of land for planting her garden and planting his fruit trees.  They are still very active and have bought a couple horses for something to do for exercise.  I think I may have to take Lydia up on her invitation to come spend a few days with her.  When Dan goes on his next fishing trip with the boys, I’ll go hang out with Lydia.
